ONLINE TEACHING EVALUATION FOR HIGHER QUALITY EDUCATION: STRATEGIES TO INCREASE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS' PARTICIPATION

 

ABSTRACT

The primary purpose of this study was to uncover determines of students’ intention to adopt online teaching evaluation at the end of semester by proposing a research model based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB).  The second purpose was to investigate the efficacy of the theory for predicting such intention.  Besides users’ attitude and perceived behavior control, the study further decomposed the subjective norms into four different categories in order to identify the best practices and strategies that a school can use to promote the intention of participation. Valid questionnaires were collected from university students in Taiwan to test the raised research hypotheses in the paper.
