ABSTRACT: From many research in the Turkish educational literature conducted about in service education, it was found out that effective and enough quantity of in service education courses had not been organized by the National Ministry of Education for science and physics teachers as locally and centrally, and it was also understood that enough collaboration was not done between National Ministry of Education and universities. In addition, it is seen that universities actively work in teachers’ in-service education and successful results are taken in some foreign countries. In this context, it is believed that universities should be actively work about in service education process of Turkish teachers and some kinds of in service course models which can encourage teachers to renew themselves through their needs, conducted with the interaction of universities and more economic and effective are required. In this study, with the help of data obtained from related literature and the current practices, a model was suggested which would be used for in service needs of teachers at where physics teachers work.
