INDIVIDUALIZED LEARNING APPROACH INTO INSTRUCTIONAL SYSTEMS DESIGN FOR WEB BASED EDUCATION
Abstract
Each person is different; may be it is not possible to design personalized content. However, it is possible to individualize curriculum for groups of students according to their learning styles and design content (individualized instructional materials) for web based education. We can call this approach as “Individualized Instructional Systems Design (IIDS)”. Then we need a platform -Learning Management System (LMS) to serve these materials. This paper focuses on two vital components of online learning: individualized instructional design for content and infrastructure or learning management system (LMS) as online learning environment and administrative tools.
